Musician
Brian Beneventi is an actor, writer, and filmmaker drawn to stories about extraordinary people facing impossible moral choices. His work blends crime, mystery, dark comedy, and emotional drama to explore grief, redemption, family, faith, and the choices that define who we become.
As an actor, Brian is passionate about portraying layered characters in crime thrillers, psychological dramas, grounded comedies, and suspense films. His credits include Mob Cops (Apple TV/Amazon Prime), Action 8 (Tubi), and the award-winning short Easter Bowl Sunday. He is currently producing Psycho & Psyche, a murder mystery proof-of-concept series.
Brian is also the author of the novels Running Out of Lies and Four and Twenty Blackbirds. Outside of film, he is the lead singer and a founding member of the Los Angeles folk band Solitano, where he performs on mandolin, fiddle, and the occasional harmonica.
Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, Brian is based in Los Angeles and works in L.A. and New York City.

PSYCHO & PSYCHE
Brian stars with Brynn Knickle (You're Killing Me - AcornTV) and Gogo Lomo-David (The Righteous Gemstones - HBO Max) as Eric Klaven, an inpatient who says he was framed for his brother's murder and his "superpowers" are helping him clear his name. The proof-of-concept is directed by Matthew Roseman (Best Director - Top Indie Film Awards, 2021). Releasing late 2026.

Brian plays in a folk band with musician and filmmaker, Rebecca Carpenter. They currently play monthly benefit concerts at the Los Angeles Women's Shelter in Santa Monica.
